Sources close to both the Montréal Impact and Seattle Sounders organizations have reported that veteran Seattle striker Kenny Cooper could be joining the Impact as part of a trade deal. Sources in Seattle expect to recieve allocation money and a draft pick in return for the striker.
Rumours going around Twitter that Kenny Cooper may be subject to a trade to #IMFC. Nothing concrete as of yet, but would you welcome him?

Cooper played in the US Open Cup for Seattle in 2014, and occassionally as a substitute forward.
Santiago Gonzalez was released from the Impact roster Wednesday morning, clearing the way for another striker.
However, many in Montréal remain unconvinced that a trade for Cooper would be feasible, or in the interests of the Impact.
No trade between #IMFC and Seattle for Cooper. Mtl is one of teams interested in player but process is complex. May know more by 5pm #MLS

With Cameron Porter injured and Dominic Oduro coming into form on the right wing for an injured Justin Mapp, the Impact have few options up top. Kenny Cooper could be an option that would provide some relief to the Impact as they enter some important matches in the future.
