Jermaine Jones comes 'home' | MLS Insider Presented by adidas

He was supposed to be a Chicago Fire player but ends up representing the Revolution.

After an impressive World Cup in Brazil, German-American midfielder Jermaine Jones hobnobbed in Hollywood with the likes of Charlie Sheen, Paris Hilton and Mike Tyson. He then joined the New England Revolution, who welcome his grit, energy and experience during the stretch run of the MLS season.

Jermaine Jones has also made his mark another way and it was unintentional. He is one of the few players, if not the only one to have gone to a team via a blind draw. He is a Revolution player but could easily have been a Chicago Fire midfielder.
