Week 2 of preseason starts to day for the Montreal Impact and it continues at Marie-Victorin Sports Complex. Transfer news have been quiet as Marco Pappa was finally picked by the Seattle Sounders in the allocation draft. This news definitely answers my take on whether the Impact should pursue Pappa or not.
But some transfer rumours are coming from Uruguay,a country with a population of under 4 Million that has a knack to produce some quality players.

Trialist & Newcomers
A rumor has come up on the inter-webs sending young Uruguyan striker, Santiago González , to the Montreal Impact. As fans were weary and worried about the lack of recruitment by the Impact, the deal for the striker seems to be signed, sealed and delivered, potentially making him the third DP of the club.
It started as a dream for Stéphane Demers

Still no news on Andres Romero and his official status with the club. Although, it would not be surprising to see him with this week or by the time the club leaves for Orlando on February 14th.
No official comments from the club on the Gonzalez rumours but we will keep you posted as we hear more..or less.
