Justin Mapp re-signs with the Montreal Impact

The Montreal Impact have just announced that both the club and Justin Mapp have agreed on terms for a new contract. No disclosures of exact terms but we do expect that many fans and media will be eager for the next salary update provided by the MLS Players Union.

Justin Mapp is a player that has mixed the good and the bad while showing apparent talent to be a positive contributor to the club. Member of the Nike version of Generation Adidas, Nike Project-40 program, at the age of 18, Mapp has definitely proved to be a very technical player with excellent skills with the ball.

Yet the references to the timing of his passes will come back to haunt him. At this point, we can assume that his relationship with Marco Di Vaio should not be too bad if the player still decided to stay in Montreal. Technically he fits the profile of the technical player that the Montreal Impact love to have and can be added value for the club.
