No surprise for Montreal Impact fans and observers that Marco Di Vaio would be absent from tonight's game vs FC Dallas. The Italian share his dissapointment of not bieng available to play in the game on twitter. Marco Schallibaum did say earlier this week that the team was practicing assuming that Di Vaio would be absent.
Disappointed I'm not with you tonight but even though I'm not physically there my heart is with the team!!!Allez Impact!!

This opens the door for Daniele Paponi to start as the potential lone striker for the club as the Impact is expected to put more numbers in the midfield. The 2-striker option is still available as Andrew Wenger playing alongside Paponi is not an impossible. Both strikers can complement each other even though barely playing together this season.
