As previously mentioned on Mount Royal Soccer, Bobby Burling was on trial with the Colorado Rapids as you can read here. As I was told from within the Colorado Rapids organisation, Bobby Burling is no longer training with the team. Officially, he was not in Colorado for an official trial as Burling has family living in Colorado. He played for the Colorado Springs Blizzard in the USL Premier Development League in 2004.
The Colorado Rapids were able to have Burling train with the team last week.
No news on Bobby Burling's potential move to another team and whether teams have been actively in contact with the Montreal Impact for a potential trade. As we speak, the Montreal Impact still hold the rights on the central defender.
