Timothée Atouba on trial with the Montreal Impact

Credit: BBC Sports

As per the Montreal Impact, the '' Lion Indomptable '' Timothée Atouba of Cameroon has joined the Montreal Impact on a 1-week trial as confirmed via the Montreal Impact official twitter account.

The 6'3 Cameroonian defender has been mostly playing as a left back during his career which included playing in the Swiss Super League, the English Premier League, Dutch Eredivisie and the Bundesliga. With Josh Gardner being injured and Tyson Wahl not playing very well (but not that bad) , it makes sense that the Montreal Impact would be looking for left backs but in the same time, trial players are proposed by different agents in a team's network so sometime the timing does not necessarily makes sense.

Good luck to Atouba.
