The Montreal Impact finishes its post/pre-season tour of Italy with a 1-0 win over Fiorentina. Marco Di Vaio scores the only goal from an indirect free-kick inside the penalty box, at the 24th-25th minute. The initial indirect free-kick was called as the Fiorentina goalkeeper handled the ball that was considered by the referee to be a pass from a Viola defender.
In other news, Luca Toni did not play in the Montreal Azzuro but in the Fiorentina Viola colors for the game. He came in the 2nd half of the game.
